The tour starts in the town of Mollepata, after starting the route we climb to the snow capped mountains Salcantay and Humanay ( 5917 m.a.s.l) to continue by the deep pass of the river Aobamba to the town of Santa Teresa from where we hike up to Machupicchu. In this trek it is possible to appreciate a variety of ecological levels and microclimates, also the tour has the most spectacular views of the most beautiful pikes of Cusco: el Wayanay(5464m.a.s.l), Pacay(5229) and the Wakay Willka or Verónica( 5750m.a.s.l), at the other side of the valley of Urubamba river.

Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa
Day 2. Soraypampa- Salcantaypampa
Day 3. Salcantaypampa - Huayromachay
Day 4. Huayromachay - Colcapampa- Churubamba
Day 5. Churubamba - Santa Teresa
Day 6. Santa Teresa - Machupicchu - Cusco
