DAY 2 : Early wake up in order to see the dance of the famous Cock of the Rock "rupicula peruviana" where males with nice movements show themselves for females. After breakfast will continue in our bus visiting in the way some coca plantation of the local people until Atalaya port (700 a.s.l.) enjoying here a delicious lunch; this port located on the Alto Madre de Dios river is the place where we board our motor boat. In our trip on the Madre de Dios River we will have the chance to see many birds as egrets, hawks, flycatchers and vultures soaring in the sky; and also make a visit to Shintuya, Amarakaeri native community arriving later to the hot springs to enjoy this curative water. DAY 3 : Wake up with the first sunrise to see a parrots clay lick where is possible to
observe a big quantity of parrots that lick the nutrients of this wall in order to regulate their metabolism. After return to the campsite for breakfast, after a break will continue our trip to Bonanza, here a good lunch and then a 4 hours trekking deep inside in the jungle, this allow us to find wildlife and if we are very lucky the majestic jaguar. at night you can relax in the hammocks.
DAY 4 :
An early wake up to enjoy a delicious breakfast and continue our trip up stream toward "Amazon lodge". In this area we walk in the trail system of the lodge recognising different types of forest
DAY 5 :
Wake up with the first light for one more chance to visit a parrots clay lick, trying to find more species of that nice birds.
DAY 1 :
Early in the morning we leave Cusco in our comfortable private bus, will go across the mountains passing over more than 3900 a.s.l. On the way will make a stop to visit the pre Incas tombs, known as "Chullpas de Ninamarca". Then will continue until Paucartambo (a tipical colonial town). Continuing we are going to reach Acjanacco pass, a nice overview in the entrance of the Manu National Park, the highest point between the Andes and the jungle.
